Red Echinacea Daisy Flower Inspired Square Pendant with Chain

Beautiful and unique fused glass dichroic pendant inspired by red echinacea flowers growing in my garden.
The piece was made by complex layering of many types and colours of glass (I use tweezers to do this) which were melted together in multiple kiln firings, each approximately 24 hours long, to create a beautiful piece of wearable art. It has a lovely tactile and organic feel as I have used a mixture of temperatures in the kiln so that some layers of glass are part melted and raised from the base panel. Among the colours of glass used are pimento, tomato, red/orange, copper and deep red with touches of amber and carnelian, in a mixture of dichroic, transparent and opaque sheet glass. This is a one-off pendant which can never be re-created due to the complexity of the making procedure.
The pendant is a free flowing rectangle shape with the largest points measuring approximately 60 long by 45 wide (50mm glass part excluding bail). The pendant weighs 47 grams. It is supplied with a silver plated chain (various sizes available but may differ in style, please contact if wish more details) in a presentation/gift box.
